The army in Burkina Faso announced that it had neutralized about 50 terrorists after the September 5 attack on the Bourzanga – Djibo road.
The attack left 35 people dead, all civilians. Several armed group bases have also been destroyed in the Boucle du Mouhoun region, according to this communiqué from the General Staff of the Army.
