Ahead of Ghana’s 2024 general elections, the Ghanaian Electoral Commission (EC) has formally requested Parliament to retract a Constitutional Instrument (C.I.) that it recently presented.

This particular C.I. aimed to establish a new Guan constituency for the Santrokofi, Akpafu, Lipke, and Lolobi (SALL) regions, which are presently unrepresented in the 8th Parliament.
