The 10th installment of the International Festival of Freedom of Expression and Press was inaugurated in the capital city Ouagadougou on Wednesday.
From October 18 to 24, the festival will focus on the theme, “Media, Conflict, and Social Cohesion in Africa,” offering a platform for contemplation and discussion.
This event takes place against the backdrop of heightened challenges, with journalists facing threats and intimidation amid the ongoing political transition.
