Togo: Judge suspends orders on mass evictions and demolition of buildings

In Togo, President of the Supreme Court, Abdoulaye Yaya has suspended judicial orders, relating to mass eviction, demolition of buildings and any massive eviction of populations.

According to the judicial authority, this decision has been taken in response to abuses in the execution of court decisions in land matters by certain legal actors.
