Three African opposition leaders have accused France of supporting dictatorship in their former colonies in Africa.

In a joint statement published in the local media in Togo and Guinea, Togo's Agbéyomé Kodjo, Guinea's Cellou Dalein Diallo and Congo's Martin Fayulu call on France to stop supporting dictatorial regimes in West and Central Africa.

The French member of parliament Sebastien Nadot is leading the fight alongside the African opposition politicians.
