Ghanaian experts call for enhanced security after attacks in Togo

Security experts in Ghana have called on the government to take urgent steps to safe gaurd the country from the growing cases of terror attacks in the West African sub-region.

The caution follows attacks neighboring Togo which resulted in the death of at least 8 military officials. The attack and others spurred the country’s national security ministry to issue directives to religious groups to safeguard their places of worship in the face of the growing threat. 

With many still skeptical about the response of the country's government, security analyst and former military officer, Richard Kumadoe, tells correspondent, Eric Mawuena Egbeta, that the Ghanaian government must increase efforts at preventing potential attacks.
