ILO calls for greater protection for millions working from home

The United Nations Labor agency - the International Labor Organization (ILO) has called for greater recognition and protection for hundreds of millions of people working from home.

The agency in a report Wednesday, said the protection of the eight percent of the global workforce who work from home, is necessitated by sharp increase in the numbers due to the pandemic.

ILO’s report read that the trend is expected to rise in coming years.
