Ghana: Black stars coach announces 23 man squad for AFCON Qualifiers

Ghana head coach Charles Akonnor has announced a 23 man squad to face Sudan in the doubled legged AFCON qualifiers.

The 23 man team will take on Sudan on 12 November in Accra before travelling to Sudan 5 days later.

The Black Stars coach has recalled stars Mubarak Wakaso, John Boye and Baba Rahman.

Jordan Ayew who missed a few Premier League games for his club Crystal Palace after testing positive for Covid-19 has been recalled to the squad.

Captain Andrew Ayew of Swansea city and Arsenal’s new signing Thomas Partey both made the final list for the encounter against Sudan.

Ghana will hope to continue their impressive performance after a 5-0 thumping against Asian Champions Qatar.
