Nigeria: Four aid workers killed by suspected Boko Haram insurgents

    Suspected Boko Haram fighters have killed four aid workers in the town of Rann in northeast Nigeria.
    The attack happened "after dark" outside a camp housing some 55 000 people displaced by the conflict and appeared to target the military.
    According to local residents, eight soldiers were also killed in the attack but there was no immediate official confirmation.
    Samantha Newport is the spokeswoman for the United Nations relief agency, OCHA, in Nigeria.
