  • 26 February 2018

The Ivorian opposition has called for the postponement of senatorial elections in the country scheduled for next month.
The government announced the holding of the elections last week following a cabinet meeting chaired by President Alassane Outtara.
But speaking to WADR from Abidjan, a leader of the opposition bloc, Jean Gervais Tcheide, said that they want a re-constitution of the elections commission before the elections can take place.
