Ivory Coast: Gov't denies conflict between the Presidency and the speaker of parliament

    There is growing tension within the Ivorian government, following the arrest of a special aide to the Speaker of Parliament.

    Soulemane Kamagate was picked up on charges of smuggling arms into Bouake, allegedly, to support a mutiny against the government.
    He is head of protocol to Speaker of parliament- Guillaume Soro.
    The government however says there is no bad blood.
    Bruno Koné is spokesman of the Ivorian Government.
