Cameroon: Gov’t lifts internet ban on English-speaking regions

    The government of Cameroon has lifted a three month-long internet ban on two of its territories.
    The Ban was imposed on the north and south-western English speaking regions of the country during rising protest over claims of marginalization.
    Dozens of protesters who were apprehended by the government are currently facing court trial.
    Camerron’s Information Minister, Issa Chiroma Bakari, spoke to WADR’s Adolphus Mawolo about the lifting of the ban.
