The giant diamond discovered in Sierra Leone was finally sold last night for 6.5 million dollars at auction in New York.
The gem, said to be the 14th largest recorded diamond in the world, was handed to the Sierra Leone government in March after it was discovered by a Christian pastor.
Last night was the third time it was auctioned. But not everybody is happy about the sale of the diamond.
