Mali: Authorities threaten closure of radio stations

    Authorities in Mali have threatened that they might shut down dozens of private radio stations for failing to obtain licences.

    The country's communications regulatory body has announced that stations affected had been sent notices to shut down "for not respecting the rules".

    On the line from Bamako, journalist Ousman Diadie spoke to Sheriff Bojang Jr about this threat.
