West African ministers discuss money laundering threat
Twelve Ministers from member countries of West African regional bloc, ECOWAS have been attending the ministerial meeting of the Intergovernmental Action Group against Money laundering in West Africa (GIABA).
The meeting, held over the weekend in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, aimed at implementing the GIABA policy within member countries.
The ministers discussed the threats and Challenges related to money laundering and terrorist financing in the region.
