Guinea: Trial of Conde’s attackers set for 10 December
December 3, 2012The trial of 33 people accused of carrying out an attack on the residence of Guinean President Alpha Conde over a year ago will begin on 10 December, according to the Public Prosecutor’s office.
One of the President’s bodyguards was killed in the attack which took place on 19 July, 2011.

Between February and September this year, cholera killed nearly 400 people and infected over 25,000 in a record epidemic in the two countries in recent times.
