As Guineans experiment with their new democracy, the opposition and the government are again in another standoff, with another mass anti government protest being called for Monday.

The opposition coalition led by main opposition leader Cellou Dallein Diallo says it is not pleased with what alleged obstruction of freedom and harassment of opposition supporters.

Those are claims the government had previously denied.

The coalition of political parties is also blaming the government for the stalled parliamentary and local elections.

As a mark of protest against the government of President Alpha Conde, the opposition coalition is calling for a stay-home action on Monday.

But the big question many are asking is will Guineans heed the opposition’s call?

WADR’s Enoh Ndri interviews Guinea’s opposition coalition spokesman Faya Milimono from the capital, Conakry.
