Burkinabe shop owners hopeful, after major violence
In Burkina Faso, shop owners victim of looting are expecting the government to compensate them so that they can restart business.
Their shops were looted by soldiers who have staged a string of mutinies in several parts of the country, since March, threatening President BlaiseCompaore’s twenty-four year rule.
Kouama Kamamoudouis is the Secretary General of the Union of Shop owners in the capital, Ouagadougou.
