Nigeria plans to double electricity cost by April

The Nigerian government has completed plans to almost double the cost of electricity from April 1st this year.

A kilowatt hour of electricity, which costs consumers 10 Naira currently, will soon cost about 19 Naira, an increase of 88 per cent.
