One of the Co-Winners of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize Leymah Gbowee has dedicated her laurel to the women of Liberia in particular and Africa in general.
Speaking in tears Sunday on arrival at the country’s international airport, Ms. Gbowee said the award was something she least expected in her life. “It came as a total shock to me”, she admitted as she addressed a news conference in the Airport’s lounge shortly upon arrival.
