Mali junta yields to ECOWAS threats, hands back to civilians

Mali’s military junta has given in to threats from the sub-regional bloc, ECOWAS, announcing the restoration of constitutional order on Sunday, April 1st, more than one week after mutinous soldiers overthrew President Amadou Toumani Toure and amid rapid rebels' military gains in the north.
