Liberia: Ivorian refugees in no rush to leave their camps
March 28, 2013A growing number of refugees living into the neighbouring country fled the violence at home discouraging their return. Most of refugees in UNHCR convoys declined to continue the trips to Ivory coast citing the security constraints. Some of them are now likely to stay in Liberia for the foreseeable future.

Ten years after seizing power in a military coup, François Bozizé was forced from power as Séléka rebels made good their threat to take the capital.Séléka leader Michel Djotodia, who was Minister of Defence in the post-Libreville government, is the CAR’s new President. Bozizé had seen off several insurgencies during a turbulent decade in office. But this time there was no reprieve.
