Nigerian army claims success in curbing Niger Delta oil theft
December 7, 2012The Joint Task Force (JTF) operating in Nigeria’s oil-rich Niger Delta has said it impounded 700 boats, barges, and trucks in nearly 3,000 operations in the area against oil theft.
The JTF also said it registered some success in cracking down on kidnappings in the region.

African Mayors Meet in Dakar
