Court slaps Senegal opposition politician with 2-year jail term
October 21, 2011An opposition political figure in Senegal has been sentenced to two years in prison.
Malick Noel Seck, leader of the Socialist Convergence Movement, which is a wing of the former ruling Senegalese Socialist party, was given the two-year jail term on Thursday for offending the Magistrate and death threats.
